Meet Dr. Forgach
We are pleased to announce the arrival of Dr. Gary Forgach to Dr. Bonine’s practice.
- Educational Background
Dr. Forgach completed his Oral and Maxillofacial training at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. His work at Loyola included all aspects of Oral and Facial Surgery with an emphasis on outpatient anesthesia, dental implants, exodontia, bone grafting, orthognathic jaw surgery, facial trauma, benign pathology and reconstruction, and surgery of the temporomandibular joint.
Dr. Forgach receieved his Bachelor of Science degree in biology and his doctorate degree in dentistry from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
- Dental Organization Involvement
Dr. Forgach is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, the Michigan Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the Livingston County, Michigan, and American Dental Associations.
He is an active staff member at St. Joseph Mercy Livingston County Hospital and also has an appointment at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry as adjunct clinical lecturer. He works with students from the school of dentistry through the VINA clinic providing free oral surgery to Livingston County residents in need of care.
- Dr. Forgach's Personal Life
Dr. Forgach is married to his wife, Elizabeth, and both are from Rochester, Michigan. The couple met in Ann Arbor where they attended U of M. Dr. Forgach stays active by running, golfing, snowboarding, and playing racquetball. A sports enthusiast, he is a die-hard U of M and Detroit fan. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family.
